On Friday, May 10, the Uni went to Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, in support of the Fulton Area Business Alliance’s effort to program Putnam Triangle Plaza, a newly pedestrianized plaza created by NYC DOT in partnership with local community groups. We had lots of little kids out for the evening with their parents, kids waiting on their mothers at the nearby beauty parlor, and other neighborhood folks. We were joined again by urban ecologist Andrew Collins, who collected ants (and leaves) to examine under the microscope. Thanks to FAB Alliance and to volunteer librarians, Meghan and Leigh, for their help!
