nycparks copyWe brought the Uni to Playground 103 in East Harlem yesterday to begin a short series designed to reach kids and families, especially those living nearby at NYCHA East River Houses. Our work here is in partnership with NYC Parks in support of the Thursdays, and you can see all of our CPI deployments here. Thanks to Leaves of Grass Fund for supporting our deployments in parks across the city.

About our “new” name… Street Lab.

Street Lab began in Boston in 2006. In 2011, we moved the organization to NYC and launched the Uni Project—a portable reading room for public space. In 2020, we are re-introducing our original name Street Lab to tie all of our work together going forward, with much more to come.
