DrawNow!DibujaAhora!

a special collaboration between Street Lab + The Drawing Center

DrawNow!DibujaAhora! is a special, socially distanced outdoor art workshop in collaboration with The Drawing Center. This free workshop will be led in Spanish and English by teaching artist, Ada Pilar Cruz, and will focus on the current exhibition, 100 Drawings From Now, which features an international group of over 100 artists whose drawings provide a snapshot of artistic production during the pandemic. Explore the exhibition online by downloading the free Bloomberg Connects app and selecting The Drawing Center’s digital guide, which includes images, drawing activities, and educational resources. Masks are required, and free masks and hand-sanitizer will be provided on-site.

This event is part of Street Lab’s Inside Out initiative which helps bring the offerings of the city’s cultural institutions outside. Made possible in part with support from SPIN and New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. The Drawing Center’s Education and Community Programs are made possible by the May and Samuel Rudin Family Foundation, Inc. Major support is provided by The Evelyn Toll Family Foundation. Additional support is provided, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, The Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, and the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation.
