Creating a reading room in a Flatbush playground

On Saturday, June 14 the Uni made a place to gather around books in Nostrand Playground, in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Our host was the multi-service nonprofit organization CAMBA, which invited us to this location adjacent to the Beacon Community Center at PS 269. Our mini book review activity was a big hit, as were our parasols. Thanks to Uni volunteers, Tiffany and Shauna, for helping out!
