All summer long, we make a special effort to reach kids in high-need neighborhoods, bringing our mix of reading, drawing, solving, and building opportunities right to the places where kids gather. For the third year in row, we’re partnering with Harvest Home, the city’s largest operator of farmers markets in high-need, low income communities, and as a result you can find the Uni at Harvest Home’s combination farmers’ market/play street every Thursday in East Harlem. Thanks to Play Street Coordinator, Sabrina Jean Baptiste, and Executive Director, Maritza Wellington Owens! Learn more about our ongoing effort at play streets, made possible by a grant from Shippy Foundation.
