Today, we landed in Chinatown with three of our favorite programs, READ, DRAW, and EXPLORE, at a NYC DOT Weekend Walk, hosted by the Two Bridges Neighborhood Council. Passersby enjoyed a curated collection of books at our pop-up reading room. They drew at our open-air art studio, featuring fine art materials and our artist-in-residence Courtney Menard. Finally, they learned about urban nature at our hands-on science exhibit, featuring Georgia Silvera Seamans of WSP Eco Projects. Participation made possible by NYC DOT. Program made possible citywide in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council. See you tomorrow, nearby at Sara D Roosevelt Park in Chinatown!
