Street Lab will land at four Open Streets to support Car-Free Earth Day in NYC

This Saturday, April 23, we’ll land on four separate Open Streets across NYC to make a point: we believe that the transformation of urban streets is critical for the health, safety, and well-being of New Yorkers, and this effort is tied to a global environmental movement. On Car-Free Earth Day 2022, we’ll join four communities and NYC Dept. of Transportation to activate streets with our PLAY, BUILD, DRAW, and Street Marker programs, in an effort to re-imagine how streets can be used for community and pedestrian use.
