More details now available about the first ever installation of the Uni on Sep. 11 at the New Amsterdam Market in Lower Manhattan. Books, Yoko Ono Wish Tree, Drawing Lab, Flash Fiction. We’re deploying every cube we’ve got so far.

Thanks to our early book donors and program partners for working so quickly to help us pull this together. Come down on Sunday and donate a favorite book to public space—choose one book you would want another New Yorker to pick up and read, hand it to a Uni Librarian, and we’ll shelve it right there in the collection.

And thanks to our host the New Amsterdam Market, a reinvention of the Public Market, once a prevalent institution in the City of New York. We’re glad to be joining them at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge, overlooking a waterfront like no other in the world.
