EXPLORE NYC, our portable, hands-on science exhibit about urban nature landed in Sara D Roosevelt Park to begin a fall residency in NYC Chinatown. Passersby could stop and try biological drawing techniques using water color brushes donated by Blick Art Materials. Today featured urban birds and local ecologist Georgia Silvera Seamans from WSP Eco Projects. Also on site was Uni Project artist-in-residence Hui Ma. Thanks as always to our partner NYC Parks. Made possible in part with funds contributed by individuals, including Paula Bock, Romy and David Cohen, the Moretti Lee Family, and Joycelyn Te. You can help us extend our residency into the fall months by joining our special fund drive.
