Join us to make art at a special, socially-distanced open-air art studio set up every Wednesday through October in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, in collaboration with the Queens Museum. Free and open to all, but specifically intended for families waiting to pick up food from the museum’s food pantry. Featuring activities tied to current museum exhibitions. Alongside, we’ll offer tools for making chalk street art, as well as a hands-free obstacle course. Look for us right outside the museum’s North entrance. Masks are required, but we’ll have free ones for you, along with hand-sanitizer. Made possible by the NYC Green Relief & Recovery Fund at the City Parks Foundation and NYC Dept. of Cultural Affairs. This event is part of Street Lab’s Inside Out initiative, focused on helping to bring the offerings of the city’s cultural institutions outside.
All of our events are wheelchair accessible. Please contact us with questions about accessibility.
